The Princess Sirivannavari Thailand Masters is a HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300 tournament and is one of 11 Super 300 level tournaments on the Tour. Held since 2016 the first two editions of the Thailand Masters were Grand Prix Gold level tournaments of the BWF tournament structure at the time.  

Since its establishment, the Princess Sirivannavari Thailand Masters has been hosted at the Nimibutr Stadium in Bangkok and it is one of two HSBC BWF World Tour tournaments hosted in Thailand, the other being the Thailand Open, a HSBC BWF World Tour Super 500 tournament.  

The Princess Sirivannavari Thailand Masters is an opportunity to showcase home grown talent with local heroes reaching the podium. Busanan Ongbamrungp won the 2017 women’s singles title and in 2016, Ratchanok Intanon, former world ranked number one, won the women’s singles title.
